The Dark Knight

Mike's take:

So the biggest movie of the summer and all I have to say is yes. Yes this movie is better than Iron Man. Yes it's better than Batman Begins. Yes Heath Ledger steals the show as the Joker. Yes this is one of the best superhero movies I have ever seen. Yes I would buy it and see it again. Yes, this is a MUST SEE movie.

Callyn's take:

Ok, so going into the theater I wiped my mind clean of any expectation and tried my best not to give Mr. Heath Ledger early credit on account of his death. But I was genuinely shocked and impressed I felt so proud to see that he completely branched out and started to advance his acting technique in a different direction. Too bad his growth ended when it did. Enough of him. I enjoyed what was done with Harvey, Christian Bale was a disappointment as usual, and what's her name was a hobag as usual. In all, the ending was rushed but the effects were decent. Not impressive but good enough. I miss Harley Quinn though. Here's hoping for an appearance in the next installment, if no one's afraid to step in as the Joker, that is.
